Each time I go into the cooler I am still in awe of this intricate system. Beer geeks know. Each line has a FOB detector (foam on beer). The purpose of the FOB is to save the beer in the beer line when a keg empties. Instead of beer foam and gas rushing through the line, the beer will come to a stop. This prevents all that foam blowing out, waste, and a mess. Danny regularly keeps these lines clean, which we will share in another post. Its one of the most important processes of delivering clean beer to your pint glass.
